On February 26, 2019 the Government of Ontario introduced Bill 74, The People’s Health Care Act, 2019 which includes the proposed Connecting Care Act, 2019. As of the date of this invitation, Bill 74 passed its second reading in the Ontario Legislature and has been referred to the Standing Committee on SocialPolicy.
To support the Central CSS Network in understanding what is being proposed for health system transformation and to assist agencies in their proactive planning, the Central CSS Network in partnership with Miller Thomson LLP, will be hosting a webinar lunch and learn on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. entitled “The People’s Health Care Act, 2019: What You Need to Know”, presented by Karima Kanani and Kathryn Frelick.
